If you’ve ever felt a little confused by all the terms floating around when it comes to aesthetic treatments — “skin boosters,” “polynucleotides,” and the classic “botox” — you’re not alone. At nüseoul, we believe in education-first skincare and aesthetic treatments, so let’s break things down.

Here’s a high-level overview of the injectable treatments we offer, what they do, who they’re for — plus answers to the questions we get most often.

1. Polynucleotides (PDRN)

What they are: Biostimulators made from salmon DNA fragments.

What they do: Repair and regenerate skin at a cellular level — think healing, rejuvenation, and long-term glow.

Great for:

  • Dull or tired-looking skin

  • Fine lines and crepey texture

  • Under-eye rejuvenation

  • Acne scarring or inflammation

Who it’s good for: Clients looking for natural regeneration and skin quality improvement without adding volume.

💬 Client FAQs:

Q: Is this the same as filler or Botox?

A: Not at all. PNs don’t add volume or freeze movement — they work by healing and regenerating your skin from the inside out.

Q: How long before I see results?

A: You may notice improved hydration and glow after 1-2 weeks, but full regeneration builds over 4-6 weeks and continues with each session. Optimal results come with doing a full course; 3 session initially and then a top-up at 9-12 months.

Q: Can I do this under my eyes?

A: Yes — in fact, it’s one of the most popular areas. We use a special under-eye PN that targets dark circles, fine lines, and thin skin.

2. Profhilo

What it is: The highest form of injectable pure hyaluronic acid that hydrates and firms — not a filler. Falls under the Skin Booster category.

What it does: Deeply hydrates, stimulates collagen and elastin, and improves elasticity.

Great for:

  • Skin laxity (especially around cheeks, lower face)

  • Fine lines

  • Dehydrated or ageing skin

Who it’s good for: Anyone over 30 looking to proactively improve skin quality and hydration or dullness.

💬 Client FAQs:

Q: Will it change the shape of my face?

A: No — Profhilo doesn’t add volume or alter structure. It works like a hydrator from within to improve skin texture and firmness.

Q: How many sessions do I need?

A: Most people start with 2 sessions, 4 weeks apart. You’ll maintain results with top-ups every 4–6 months.

Q: Is there downtime?

A: Minimal. You might see small bumps for 24–48 hours where the product was injected, but they settle quickly.

3. Seventy Hyal 2000

What it is: An advanced skin booster rich in hyaluronic acid.

What it does: Deeply hydrates, plumps, and gives a dewy “glass skin” effect.

Great for:

  • Dehydration

  • Lack of glow

  • Fine texture concerns

Who it’s good for: Younger clients or those starting out with injectables, especially in their 20s to 30s.

💬 Client FAQs:

Q: Is this the same as Profhilo?

A: They’re both skin boosters, but Seventy Hyal is slightly thicker and more focused on hydration and plumping, while Profhilo focuses on laxity and firmness.

Q: Can I wear makeup after?

A: It’s best to wait at least 12 hours. Keep the area clean and avoid heat or intense exercise for 24 hours.

Q: How soon will I glow?

A: Most people notice the “glow” within a week — it builds gradually with each session.

4. Neurotoxin (Botox)

What it is: Botulinum toxin that relaxes muscles to soften wrinkles.

What it does: Smooths fine lines, prevents deeper wrinkles, and can contour the face.

Great for:

  • Forehead lines

  • Frown lines

  • Crow’s feet

  • Jaw slimming / teeth grinding

  • Neck bands

Who it’s good for: Clients looking for a refreshed, softened look without changing facial expression.

💬 Client FAQs:

Q: Will I look frozen?

A: Not here! We prioritise subtle, natural results. You’ll still look like yourself — just more rested.

Q: How long does it last?

A: Around 3–4 months, depending on your metabolism and lifestyle. Regular treatments help it last longer over time.

Q: Is it preventative?

A: Absolutely. Starting in your late 20s or early 30s can prevent deeper lines from forming.

5. Dermal Filler

What it is: Gel-based injectable (usually hyaluronic acid) that adds volume or defines facial features.

What it does: Enhances structure, restores lost volume, smooths folds or shadows.

Great for:

  • Lips

  • Cheeks

  • Jawline

  • Chin

  • Smile lines

Who it’s good for: Clients looking for natural contouring or rejuvenation. We focus on harmony and balance, never overfilling.

💬 Client FAQs:

Q: Will I look overdone?

A: Not at nüseoul. Our approach is minimal and strategic — we aim to enhance, not inflate.

Q: Does it hurt?

A: We use a very strong numbing cream and gentle techniques, so most people feel very little discomfort.

Q: How long does it last?

A: Depending on the area and product, filler can last 6 to 18 months. We’ll tailor it based on your needs.

Not Sure Where to Start?
